Frequently asked questions
Is my data actually private, or is that just marketing?
Yes. Your case notes, Signal Scan history, and Second Look entries stay in your own browser’s local storage. Nothing is synced to our servers or any employer’s dashboard. Only your account login (email + password hash) is stored server-side, purely to gate which persona lenses you can open.
Is the AI making decisions or judging me?
No. The Decision Desk never generates advice or a verdict. It only asks structured reflection questions. The opt-in AI features (Deep Read, Coach’s Next Line, Rehearsal Simulator) are separate, clearly evidence-tagged, and Coach’s Next Line is skipped entirely if Deep Read’s own Truth score reads too low to coach on top of.
What if my role isn’t CEO, CTO, Coach, Board, or Founder?
Pick “Other senior leader” and enter a free-text title: CFO, COO, CHRO, CMO, General Counsel, Chief of Staff, anything. It runs the identical engine underneath; the title only changes what’s shown, not how the tool works.
Does this diagnose or score my mental health?
No, explicitly and by design. Second Look always shows a non-clinical disclaimer, and nowhere in the app is there a composite “health” or risk score of any kind.
Is this free to use, and what does a paid plan add?
Every tool in the product is available on every plan, and so is everything you need to keep a verifiable record: unlimited sealed decisions, verdicts, calibration and the Track Record export are free. Member (490 USD a year, or 49 USD a month) adds what only matters over time: unlimited independent RFC 3161 timestamps, verdict reminders that never contain your decisions, and the full Quarterly Judgment Review. If you stop paying, nothing is locked; every timestamp already issued stays valid forever, and there is no auto-renewal. The opt-in AI reads also sit behind one disclosed, shared usage-budget guardrail so the pool stays available for everyone.
